i have a small set of gouache i've been wanting to crack into lately. finally played with them yesterday. did this mountain quail. i'm excited to do some sketches at the botanical gardens!

livin large

well, not living large in that sense. i am however working on a large site specific commission for a hotel in London. the canvas is 57x104 inches. they requested a large single bird for a wow factor. i gotta say i think working this size is opening some doors for me.
