Regent Honeyeaters

Here's a 20x20 panel with two Regent Honeyeaters native to Australia. They're highly endangered. This piece is going to be included in a group show at Thinkspace Gallery next month in conjunction with Born Free USA titled Wild at Heart. Click HERE to view the press release.

From the Press Release:  “Wild at Heart: Keep Wildlife in the Wild,” an exhibition to raise awareness about the precarious predicament of wild creatures around the world, and to benefit efforts to protect them in their natural habitat. Featuring a stellar cast of more than 100 artists from all corners of the art world, this exhibition brings together some of the most profound and innovative voices making art today. In recognition of the imperiled state of much of the world’s wildlife, each artist will apply their own unique perspective to our relationship with the fascinating creatures with whom we share our planet.

morning practice

some watercolor sketches i did with my buddy Preston Graves at the Arizona Botanical Gardens. it feels great to get in some early morning observation and warming up before the day begins. i've only gone twice in the past two weeks and plan on going more often. luckily my friend has a museum pass that allows him a guest. otherwise they really nickel and dime the hell out of you for admission. if any of you know anyone at the botanical gardens here in AZ, i'd appreciate any free passes! :)
