Limited Editions!

for my upcoming solo show at Beals and Abbate Fine Art (click here for link), the gallery is releasing a limited edition print of my piece "Prospects". the size is 20x24. the gallery is running a pre-sale special of $125. before Sept 28th. after that they'll go up to regular price at $150. 

i've gotten many inquiries in the past about available prints for sale. now is your chance. there's only 100!

i recently got two Wonderful write ups. the first was in the Santa Fean Magazine. i couldn't believe they used one full page to showcase one of my paintings. you can check out the online version HERE. if you type 78 in the box above it will take you directly to the article. 

the second and most recent article is in the newest issue of American Art Collector Magazine. another great article as well. there's even a full one page ad for my solo show at Beals and Abbate at the end of next month. i'm crazy humbled to say the least. its amazing to know people dig what i do. 

bound matter

i taught myself to book bind this past weekend. pretty excited about it since i've been wanting to do this for a long time. of course the craftsmanship will get better with time. until then i'm stoked to have finally accomplish the task. i don't think i'll ever buy another sketchbook again. this was the first i made on saturday. i made another on sunday along with my girlfriend Christy (this time with Stonehenge paper). we might be making more and try selling some online. stay tuned!

Installed

I received a pic from the interior designer that commissioned me to do a large piece for the Ampersand Hotel in London. The hotel is due to open by the end of the month. I have to admit, it does look pretty awesome installed. Its placed right behind the check in counter as well. I totally want to see the hotel in person. They have a great boutique/curiosities theme.

playing catch up

still keeping things moving! just been lazy with posts. i figured i would do a blast of pics to keep you up to date. first off, i had the honor to be the portrait subject for an amazing artist and friend Aristides Ruiz. Art (for short) is currently based in NYC and is FIERCE with watercolor, ballpoint pen and anything else you put in front of him. the portrait was included in a group show at Lyons Wier Gallery, NY that will be up until Aug 11th. i also just cut down the stretcher bars i used for a recent commission and made a 57x72 canvas. i'm hoping to complete it for my solo show in Sept. the other pics are of some recently completed and in progress works.
