It looks like Tillandsia that I first saw/learned about yesterday in Savannah, GA. Funny if I check your page the following day to see you painting one.
Thanks Tom. Ya, I have a bunch in my terrarium at home. maybe its subconscious that i painted them. they're awesome little plants.
